Luau Larry’s needed a complete overhaul of an outdated, templated site that didn’t reflect the personality of the restaurant itself. We led a full redesign and rebuild, developing custom wireframes and a visual direction inspired by vintage Hawaiian and Polynesian aesthetics to match the cool, fun, and authentic Catalina Island vibe of the space. Drawing from 1950s surf culture, tiki design, and classic island motifs, we created a rich, immersive experience with custom graphics and textured backgrounds. The new site was designed to be easily updated by the client, including flexible menu management, and was built in WordPress using Elementor with WooCommerce integration for branded merchandise sales. The result is a vibrant, cohesive digital presence that finally aligns with the in-person experience.
